I took this shot at a W&L track meet
as a photographer for the Ring Tum Phi
our college paper

It won an award in the Tampa Tribune in 1966
and I needed to get a subject release
... but who was it?

It was summer... school was out...
I had a friend on the track team so I called the University...
explained my problem... and the gave me his home phone number
His parents then gave me the number for a summer camp in Maine
and their operator called out to the kitchen... WILDRICK!
When Bill answered he said... describe him...

... He has this big smile on his face...

That was enough... It's _______________
A few more calls and I had my release

sadly... 40+ years later that name has faded
so if this is you... send me your name again
